Transcript of the Marriage Certificate

• Officially translated Marriage Certificate for the engaged, issued by a local Institution

• Copies and originals of the Identity Documents of the engaged

• Copies and originals of the engaged couple’s Passports

• Copies of Residence Permits of the engaged

• Copy of Military Registration proof

• Copy of School or employment declaration

• Copies and originals of Witnesses' Identity Documents and Passports

• In the event that one of the spouses be a resident foreigner, the spouse's Birth Certificate and Criminal Record Certificate must be translated into Portuguese, and authenticated by the Consular Sector of the respective Embassy, before filing the process.

Documents and the proof of payment must be submitted in physical format to the Consular Section of the Embassy.
